Monte Carlo

The Monte Carlo is a simple but a damn good whiskey drink.

Our Monte Carlo

This whiskey cocktail recipe uses rye whiskey. The spiciness of the rye is perfect for cutting through the sweetness.

We are using Kooper Family Rye Whiskey, gold buckle winner for best rye aged & bottled in Texas. The Kooper Family blending house is in Ledbetter, Texas. Troy and Michelle focus on the art of blending, and we must say they are doing a damn fine job!

The cocktail has the aroma of cherry Dr. Pepper. The Benedictine provides sweetness. The Kooper Family Rye adds depth and spice. Together the ingredients create a whiskey drink that tastes like a soda.

2.25 oz rye whiskey

1.5 oz Benedictine

2 dashes Angostura bitters
