Arnold Palmer with whiskey
The Arnold Palmer is a classic non-alcoholic drink named after the famous golfer. It is light and refreshing, perfect after a round of golf. Over the years, people have made a vodka version called the John Daly.
We thought of calling it birdie juice and swing lube, but sometimes it is best to keep it simple. This is our Arnold Palmer with whiskey.
Arnold Palmer with whiskey
The whiskey of choice for this drink is the Pfluger single malt from Spirit of Texas distillery. Located in Pflugerville, Texas, this 80% malted barley and 20% rye whiskey has won a gold buckle two years in a row. This single malt has a bright flavor with a hint of earthiness and spice from the rye.
Arnold Palmer is a mixture of unsweet tea and lemonade. The ratio between the two is up to you. From what we know, Mr. Palmer preferred 3 parts tea to 1 part lemonade.
