We view the contest and awards as a guide for people to discover new whiskeys. Everything entered in the contest is available for purchase by the bottle or glass, with some being in distribution and others being distillery-only releases. 

These are the winners chosen by a panel of judges' opinion and palate on the enjoyability and drinkability of the whiskey. The opinion and palate of each judge varies, so remember the best whiskey is the one you like. The People’s Choice award is our final category chosen by festival attendees. The winners will be announced at the festival. 

This year, we added an overall category for best grain-to-glass whiskey. This covers all categories, with the highest-scoring whiskeys winning.
